"I'll see you again when the world stops ending." This ironic, hopeful last sentence in a friend's email inspired Tobias Panwitz to write this song about lack of communication, about alienation between friends. An invitation to look beyond the limits of one's own opinions, to move towards each other again and to not get drawn in to believing that the end of the world is imminent.
"When The World Stops Ending" was recorded in Berlin and Nashville, with Tobias Panwitz (vocals, acoustic guitar, piano), Dave Coleman (electric guitar & mixing), Pete Finney (pedal steel guitar) & Marshall Richardson (drums, percussion)

"I'll see you again when the world stops ending."
Aufgenommen wurde "When The World Stops Ending" in Berlin und Nashville, mit Tobias Panwitz (Gesang, Akustikgitarre, Klavier), Dave Coleman (E-Gitarre & Mixing), Pete Finney (Pedal Steel Gitarre) & Marshall Richardson (Schlagzeug, Percussion)
lyrics
When the world stops ending
I haven’t seen you in a long time
Seems something fell apart
Didn’t pick up the phone
Busy on our own
Different rhythms in our hearts
I’ll see you when the world stops ending
When the haze lifts from our eyes
When the rules we made are bending
When the the sun will melt the ice
We’re clinging on to our convictions
Like we’re both adrift at sea
Losing sight of one another
Losing sight of what could be
I’ll see you when the world stops ending
When the haze lifts from our eyes
When the rules we made are bending
When the the sun will melt the ice
Isn’t it a pity
Isn’t it a shame
We’re all too ready to play the game
Of righteousness and blame
This old world will still be turning
Long after we’re gone
Let’s not waste our time on silence
Cause we ain’t got that long
I’ll see you when the world stops ending
When the haze lifts from our eyes
When the rules we made are bending
When the the sun will melt the ice
I’ll see you when the world stops ending
