about

"The Road To Salamanca" came to life between 2005 and 2009, over a period when I had been travelling a lot, including walking the Spanish Caminos de Santiago. Amongst others, "Walking The Camino" and "Bats On The Wing" reflect those times.
One of the Caminos leads from Sevilla via Salamanca up to Santiago. I never made it as far as Salamanca though .. thus the song is about the "Road To Salamanca".

melotroning on Walking The Camino .. Fred Sunesen, who played drums on Bats On The Wing & Won’t Be The One
Sandro Kopte who recorded Speed of Sound at Sae .. and Fernand Kenzler, who mixed and mastered all the tracks,
except for Julia Clover & Walking The Camino, which were mixed and mastered by Leonardo von Papp
and Marc Haussmann at Retox Studio. Karolina Kuszyk took the photos on page 8 and 11.

The songs were written on locations in
Mérida, Galicia, Värmland, Akdeniz, California, Vorpommern, Sachsen and Berlin.
